Thanks to all the brides and grooms who made it to the Gothenburg Wedding Fair last weekend. It was my first mässa in Sweden and I was completely blown away by the amount of interest we generated, which I hope was as much to do with my photography and our Loxley Bellissimo albums rather than by the reduced prices for 2013.
We were a little worried about being out in a corner, but turns out that corner was also the main thorough fair for everybody heading upstairs, so pretty much everybody who came walked past our stand twice. While good on one level, we were almost completely out of price lists by the end of Saturday which led to a late night with scissors and a printer to get some flimsy looking flyers out for Sunday which at least had my website on.
It’s a huge amount of work to put on and even now my to-do list is full of follow-ups I need to be making. Not least it was a great opportunity to meet a lot of fellow utställares working in the wedding and events industry around Gothenburg.
Finally Congratulations has to go to Henrik Utter who we picked out of a hat on Valentine’s day yesterday as the winner of the Bollinger Special Cuvée.
