Sjölyckan is a great little bröllopslokal (wedding venue) near Tollered and is perfect for a medium sized wedding dinner and drinks reception.
Originally built in the 19th century as a part of the Nääs Fabriken (now a high class hotel, perfect for wedding guests who don’t want to drive home). The traditionally built yellow house has fantastic views over the Sävelången lake and the evening sun on the jetty makes a fabulous location for couple photos.
There is a good sized lawn and a large decking space making it a good wedding venue for children and for outdoor drinks, even in wet weather. The dining room can sit around 60 guests and has a boating theme, from the jetty-like decking around the outside to the ropes and decor indoors including pride of place going to the large boat hanging from the ceiling.
The location is very convenient for Gothenburg, right off the E20 and a short distance from Floda train station. It right on the edge of the historic industrial village of Tollered. Nearby Nääs Slott is a fabulous setting for ceremonies or photo sessions and nearby Skallsjö kyrka in Floda is renowned for the huge glass windows surrounding its spire..jpg)
