Tom and Lucie’s was a beautiful wedding rural wedding. I’d actually done the pictures for Lucie’s sister Tara a few years earlier and it was something of a boost to see the canvases her parents had ordered from that hanging on their wall. The whole wedding took place in Lucie’s parents’ garden with spectacular views over the fields.
There had been concern about the weather, but it was the hottest day of the year and the plethora of white wedding umbrellas were all needed as parasols. After the ceremony, drinks and a couple shoot, everybody moved up to the marquee in a neighbouring field for some perfect rural revelry.
